Because of the fall mans whole bias is toward wickedness or evil.

Man must admit his wickedness and turn from it with his whole heart and mind towards God. God requires repentance.

And since this is true, we shouldn’t think of God as an idol designed by craftsmen from gold or silver or stone. God overlooked people’s former ignorance about these things, but now he commands everyone everywhere to turn away from idols and turn to him.
By regeneration we mean new birth. To those who come to God in faith believing there is forgiveness of sins, God gives a new nature.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT)
What this means is that those who become Christians become new persons. They are not the same anymore, for the old life is gone. A new life has begun!

And God will provide rest for you who are being persecuted and also for us when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven. This challenges us to evangelise.
