DBC Community Care

Dreambuilders Community Care is a part of the Apostolic Community Care Network (DGR Fund).  Dreambuilders Community Care exists to help meet practical needs within the community.  Jesus loves all people, including the poor, the sick, the lonely and the disadvantaged and this ministry exists to express that love.

Dreambuilders Community Care Centre

The Dreambuilders Community Care Centre will provide support to people who are going through crisis situations in their lives. This will be accomplished by

• Assessing the client’s unique situation through an application process
• Referring clients to agencies that are suitable to meet their needs, by liaising with other specialised agencies
• Crisis food relief – after an assessment of the situation a client will receive pre-packaged food according to their needs.
• Assisting clients with basic financial budgeting, by using tools to generate awareness of financial choices and how to make the right choices in the future.
• Informal chat and coffee times so that clients can talk to trained volunteers, therefore providing ongoing support, reducing isolation and hopelessness through their stressful times.

• Meet new friends
• Learn conversational English in a relaxed atmosphere
• Learn about Australian culture
• Qualified teachers
• Opportunity to practice your English skills
• Practice your conversation with English speaking people over tea, coffee and communal meals

Bus service

Dreambuilders Church has a free bus service available for people who are unable to get to church because they don’t have their own transport.

The bus service if for the 11am church service every Sunday

Pickup locations within Midland, Swan View, Stratton, Woodbridge, Midvale, Viveash, Jane Brook (also pickup available from Midland train/bus station for people outside these areas)
